Indie Series Awards

The Indie Series Awards (formerly the Indie Soap Awards) is an annual event held by We Love Soaps, LLC, honoring the best in professional, independently produced, scripted and serialized TV series, usually the ones being broadcast on the web.
==History==
The award-giving body was established in 2009 by We Love Soaps, LLC, a Manhattan media company boutique that champions serialized entertainment in all forms. In 2010, it started as an Internet-only event. The next year, it becomes a live event for the first time, hosted by Martha Byrne at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
Traditionally, the Awards is attended by an eclectic assortment of Television and Broadway actors who are active in the scripted web serial genre, such as Tracie Thoms, Patrika Darbo, Kim Zimmer, and Vincent Pastore among others.
Since the 5th awards ceremony, the Indie Soap Awards were renamed as Indie Series Awards.
